Subject: Promotion and posting to the post of Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service (MMS), Group 'A' in Level 11 of Pay Matrix, transfer of Senior Manager, MMS and assignment of additional charge- regarding

The President is pleased to promote the following Managers of Mail Motor Service (MMS), Group 'A' on regular basis to the grade of Senior Manager, MMS, Group 'A' in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 67,700 2,08,700/-) with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until further orders: -

3. The promotion of the above Managers, Group 'A' MMS shall be subject to the outcome of OA Nos. 390/2022 and 94/2023 in the Hon'ble CAT, Chandigarh and Hyderabad bench respectively regarding the seniority list of Manager, MMS. Group 'A' and SLP (C) No. 30621/2011, arising out of final judgement and order dated 15.07.2011 in CWP No. 13218/2009 passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana and other connected cases, pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

4. Orders of the Competent Authority are hereby also conveyed for transfer/posting of the following Senior Manager, MMS, in public interest with immediate effect and until further orders:

5. Approval of the competent authority is also hereby conveyed that Shri Shrikant Sinha, Manager, MMS, Patna will hold the additional charge of Manager, MMS, Kolkata (Downgraded Post), in addition to his own duties, without any extra remuneration and until further orders.

6. No officer involved in the election work in any capacity shall be relieved/dislocated till the election process is over in view of enforcement of Model Code of Conduct.

7.Relevant charge reports may be sent to this office in due course.
