I am directed to forward herewith a copy of order dated 05.09,2018 of the Hon’ble High Court, Jodhpur Bench in DBCWP No. 2810/2014 filed by Shri Ram Swaroop Joshi Vis UOI, & others on the above mentioned subject wherein it has been ordered that:-

“The Tribunal has correctly noted that the anomaly is not on account of promotion but on account of the fixation of pay in the new pay scale.”

You are requested to kindly circulate these orders to all your subordinate offices for information/defending such cases in CAT.

Revised eligibility criteria for engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) posts : DoP order dated 22.03.2019

In respect of the GDSs engaged on or after 01.07.2018,the initial fixation of TRCA will be done on the first stage of Level -1 of the respective category.

i.e , for BPM - Rs.12,000

and for ABPM -Rs.10,000

Sub:Revised eligibility criteria for engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) posts

I am directed to invite your kind attention towards DC Posts order. of even number dated 08.03.2019 and to inform that the pant X of revised eligibility criteria for engagement to GDS posts may be substituted with the following para:

(i) The following Minimum TRCA shnll be paynble to the different categories of CDS poste as mentioned in Directorate Order No 17-302016 GDS dated 25.06.2018

Minimum TRCA of all categories of CDS as per Working hrs/Levels

(ii) However. in respect of the GDS engaged on or after 01.07.2018 the initial fixation of TRCA will be done on the first stage of Level -1 of the respective category.

2. The above necessary amendments may be given to the drat notification as well as in revised eligibility criteria.

This order is contrary to the order no.5-1/07 -WS-I dated 16.07.2012.
