Subject:- Changes in some procedures of POSB in the backdrop of implementation of CBS-regarding. 

Sir / Madam. The undersigned is directed to convey that the competent authority has taken following decisions in the backdrop of proposed implementation of CBS:- 

(i) all circles should identif 5 System Administrators (having knowledge of POSB Rules and procedure) who have taken or going to take User Champion [raining of ( 135. 'learn of these 5 SAs shall he designated as Circle CBS Operations Monitoring Team. This Team should he stationed at Circle Processing Centre and will monitor day to day operations of all CBS post offices in the Circle. 

(ii) This Team will work under In charge of CPC who will inform Mobile numbers and e-mail IDs of the members of the team to Central ('US IT Operational 'learn stationed at Chennai. For all purposes. only this team w ill interact with Central IT CBS Operational Team. I he Incharge of CPC will he Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for CBS Operations in the Circle whose Fandline and Mobile Number as well as F Mail II) should he circulated to all CBS Post Offices in the Circle. Central IT CBS Operational Team, A PMG(Tech.) T.N Circle and F.S Division of Postal Directorate. 

(ii) In CBS. the process of end of Day k01)) and Beginning of day (EOD) is very important. 1301) happens once date of SOL(Post Office) is changed. Following procedure should be adopted for 1;01) and 1301) in CBS at various levels:- 

EOD and 1301) Process ol*C13S End of Day (E01)) Activities to he done at SO Level After completion of all the activities of the day. Supervisor/SPM has to perlbrm the Wow ing, activities:- 

Run Menu I ISVA .R PT and select execution level as "SOI, DATk ('I IANGIT and submit. Go to I IPR 

menu to get validation report. In validation report. the list of unverified and un-posted transactions / Inventory movement inward ; outward open zones will be shown. Ensure that all the day's transactions arc verified and posted: if' not S01,..elosure will fail. Run I ISCOD to change date of the SOI,. After the hatch is executed, go to I ISSI menu to check the SOI. status. SOI, status will he (i) SO1. PRECOD l)ONN (ii) CHANGE OF DATE. INITIATED (III) SOI. POSTCODE DONE . This can he tracked by using I ISSI menu . After successful completion aliscor) SOT, status will he SOI. POSTCOD DONE. 1301) date will he tomorrow's date and kOD Event status will be "E01) EVENT NOT IN PROGRNSS". 

Alter the process is completed. obtain confirmation from 110 betbre leaving office. Any transaction carried out after this process will belong to the next working day. Activities to he done at II() Level One System Administrator Supervisor of 110 has to be identified Ibr doing End of Da) operations at 110. Ile'she will monitor the SOs under that 110 to know the position of Date Change at each SO(S01.) using HSSI menu.
