The undersigned is directed to refer to this office SB Order No. 16/2017, issued vide this office letter of even number dated 11.10.2017, and Addendum —I and Addendum-ll dated 04.01.2018 and 28.03.2018 respectively.

2. Now it is clarified that Aadhaar is not compulsory for opening of account/purchase of certificates.

3. it is requested to circulate the above instructions to all field units and ensure thatthe instructions are strictly followed.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
