Subject: Regarding creation of new Gum1a Postal Division by bifurcation of existing Ranchi Division in Jharkhand Circle

Kindly refer to Circle's Office letter No. Estt./Creation of new Postal Dn./GumIa dated 04.01.2018 on the subject cited above.

2. The proposal has been examined in detail in consultation with Integrated Finance Wing. The approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for creation of a new Postal Division at Gumla by bifurcation of the existing Ranchi Postal Division with the following conditions:

(i) Efforts be made by the Circle to enhance revenue

(ii) No new posts to be created

(iii) No additional outsourcing of resources to be done and

(iv) No additional expenditure to be incurred other than that is proposed in the Circle's letter dated 21.09.2015.

3. The Circle is, therefore, requested to comply wi.th the above conditions and take further necessary action accordingly.
